
Representative Paul Hodes recently introduced a bill which would prevent campaigns from receiving donations from anyone who has benefitted from an earmark.
HOWEVER, Rep. Hodes, HIMSELF, has taken donations from these sources. Here is a brief excerpt from NowHampshire’s article:
Hodes has accepted a much larger bundle of cash–$16,000—from the United Auto Workers, a labor union that benefited significantly from a $14 billion bailout by the federal government. Hodes voted for the bailout. Hodes also called for funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program to be used to further bailout the automakers.
